In this research the substance of cultural tourism is studied and specifically the existence and the maximum usability of its capabilities in the area of Amphipolis. After the evaluation and presentation of the “cultural products”, which were, and still are, in Amphipolis through interviews of experts and scientists, it is observed and recorded, with the help of questionnaires’ analysis, the touristic traffic that occurs. Following next, are the recommendations and conclusions of the research, providing feasible future ideas of cultural tourism development in the region. In the conclusions it is also attempted a construction of a virtual state economic model based on cultural tourism. The separation of reality from the world of the supernatural allows a man to rationally recognize the true value and usability of their ideas.

Έχοντας ως δεδομένο πως ο Ν. Σερρών τμηματοποιείται σε εφτά (7) δήμους μπορούμε εύκολα να προσδιορίσουμε τα όρια που μπορούν να αναπτυχθούν ενδεικτικές μορφές εναλλακτικού τουρισμού. Το υψηλότερο κέρδος θα είναι ανάλογο με τη χιλιομετρική απόσταση για την εδρεύουσα επιχείρηση και την στρατηγική που η επιχείρηση αυτή μπορεί να αναπτύξει για να προσελκύσει επισκέπτες από όλο τον κόσμο. Η δέσμευση του κόστους μπορεί να δημιουργήσει μια υγιή ανταγωνιστικότητα μεταξύ των επιχειρήσεων δίχως όμως να δεσμεύει τις δραστηριότητες των σε κάθε σημείο εναλλακτικού τουρισμού. Στην τελευταία πρόταση μπορεί να προστεθεί η κρίση του επισκέπτη και οι παροχές που αναζητά σχετικά με τη μονάδα διαμονής του.
